Senior Project Architects

LARRY ARONAT, AIA

Larry Aronat, AIA brings over thirty years of experience in new construction and interior renovation to Ordiz-Melby Architects, Inc.  Larry studied architecture at California Polytechnic University at Pomona and in 1982 received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture.  He is a registered architect in California and Washington.

Larry has been responsible for the design and preparation of construction documents to numerous projects including residential, commercial, religious, medical, educational, industrial, manufacturing and agricultural.   Larry also possesses excellent graphic communication skills and is an accomplished architectural photographer with his work published in AIACC’s arcCA magazine. His passions are design, graphic design and photography (architectural and sports), cycling and is an avid audiophile and collector of vintage and current vinyl records.

Larry is active in the local American Institute of Architect Golden Empire Chapter and has served as the editor of the AIAGE Axis Newsletter.

Alyssa Grishaber, AIA, LEED Green Associate

Alyssa’s passion for architecture, combined with her design and BIM documentation skills, makes her a welcomed asset to Ordiz-Melby Architects. She brings creative energy and a fresh design perspective to her projects, and her attention to detail have established her as a valuable member of the project team.

Her determination and desire for continued learning has led her to earn her LEED® Green Associate designation.

Mark Torres, AIA

Mark Torres, has experience in a variety of building types. Because of his knowledge of long term residential, he understands a facility must serve the physical and emotional needs of the user. He also understands the long term maintenance challenges in an institutional setting.

Since his arrival at Ordiz-Melby Architects, Inc., he has exemplified dedication and commitment to timely completion of project assignments Mark has been successfully involved in the document preparation, coordination and processing of many projects through the Division of the State Architect. His understanding of the regulatory process makes him a real asset on projects of all sizes. His dedication to quality and timeliness make him a valuable asset to our team.
