Veterans Memorial

Ordiz-Melby was approached by a very energetic group of veterans that asked for our help to visualize a memorial to all Kern County Veterans.   This was a cause we all felt deserved our help.   We began with simple site plans for various potential sites.  Almost a decade later, we completed the award winning memorial that we have today on Truxtun Avenue.  The entire process took over eight years, on several potential sites and several design solutions. This planning, design, and construction documents effort was a pro bono gift from our leaders and our staff to the community.
