The firm employs individuals with skills in design, planning, construction document preparation, interior design, graphic communications, marketing and business. All of these skills are needed to maintain a vital, growing practice. The firm routinely looks for people with the right attitude and skills to move the firm to a new level.
Professional Development
As a part of firm’s commitment to its core values, they strive to provide opportunities for professional development and personal growth. The firm provides in-house training or discussion groups on topics as diverse as materials and methods of construction, BIM user groups, and leadership.
The firm also conducts construction project site tours of significant projects when possible. These tours are scheduled at important times in construction when a wide range of construction related items can be observed and be discussed.
OMA encourages licensure by offering a library of study materials and reimbursement incentives for passed examinations.
OMA encourages staff to be active in professional organizations. We believe that participation in these organizations enriches both the individual and the firm. The firm has a program to pay AIA dues for all architects and active associate members.
